Crazy girl- 2. The first day at high school
Our
school starts at 8 o’clock. I wake up at 7:30. I don’t like getting up early. I want to sleep. I don’t want to go to school because, I’m afraid of my new schoolfellows and a new teacher. My mother prepared me and my sisters a snack to school.- She called me and my sisters, “Girls hurry up! You will be late for school. This is your first day at school after summer holiday. You should be happy.”
I said to my mother: “Mum, I’m afraid of new schoolfellows and a new teacher. I’m not happy. I wish it would be behind me.”
“Jessica, don’t be afraid of school. Your older sister Susan was looking forward to school,” said mum.
In front of the school there were my new schoolfellows waiting schoolfellows. Wish I would be favourite among my new schoolfellows. I went to the company of children.
I said to them, “Hello. I’m Jessica. I’m fifteen. I’m a new student at this school. What are your names? Please, tell me something about yourself. Thank you.”
The first, a beautiful girl, started to speak. She had a long wavy brown hair, blue eyes and a nice face. She wore a red shirt with star sky and blue jeans with a red belt and white shoes. She had a silver chain on her neck. She wore a big red handbag.
She said, “I’m Kelly. I’m fifteen. I was born in London, but during summer holidays my family moved to California. I’m happy. I go to this school and I live in our town. Every day I go to the sea for bathing because there isn’t sea in London.”
The second girl who started speaking after Kelly, was Anne who was slim. She had long blond hair. She looks like a model. She was very lovely, nice, clever and splendid. She wore a pink T-shirt with title “I’m cool” and a blue skirt with a pink belt and pink shoes. She had a golden chain on her neck. She wore a big pink handbag.
She said, “I’m Anne. I was born in California. I was looking forward to school, new schoolfellows and new teachers. I think of me that I’m very beautiful, clever, crazy and cool girl. I hope we will get on well.”
The third girl was Ashley. She and her sister Mary-Kate were film stars. Ashley wore a blue dress and blue shoes. She had a silver chain on her neck. She wore a big blue handbag.
She said, “I’m Ashley and this is my twin Mary-Kate. I like my friends I hope, I will find some here too.”
Her sister Mary-Kate was very cool, beautiful, lovely and jovial girl. She wore a beautiful green dress and green shoes. She had a silver chain on her neck as her sister does.
She said, “Nice to mee you.”
The first boy who appended to our “bunch” was Lucas. He was very beautiful, clever, active, jovial and a cool boy. He wore a blue a T-shirt and dark blue jeans and black shoes. He had golden chain on his neck.
He said, “I’m a normal boy who began going at this school. My hobbies are lacrosse, surfing, riding, playing football ... I like going to the cinema, the park, a shop, a swimming pool, a disco, a coffee house. So I hope that I’ll be your good friend.”
He seemed me to be a very likable boy. I hope that he will be my friend.
I asked him: “Where do you live?”
He answered, “I live in California in the Green Street. And you?”
I said, “Me too, I live in California in the High street. We are going to the same class. Do you want to sit with me?”
He told me: “Yes, I do if I can sit next to such a beautiful girl ... ”
I answered, “I would like to.”
He said to me: “Don’t worry. I think about you that you are very nice, lovely, clever, jovial, brave and a cool girl. I like you very much.”
Our new teacher had first day a good mood. Our class-divided teacher said to us, “I wish you a beautiful and an easy school year and have a nice day. We will see tomorrow. I’m looking forward to seeing you.”
All the class said to Mrs. Teacher, “thank you. We are looking forward to too .”
I said to our farewells with my new friends. And I waited for my mum Carolyn as long as she had give me a lift. I told my family how was at school.
My younger sister Rachel said to me: “So, what your new school?”
I said Rachel: “My school is good. My new schoolfellows are very cool. I’m happy because I sit with nice, beautiful, lovely, clever, jovial, cool, happy and a brave boy. He is very likable. He said to me that I’m a very beautiful girl.”
She answered: “It is super. I’m happy, you are very happy. I wish you it.”
My older sister Susan came to me and to Rachel.
She said to me: “Jessica, Lucas called. I have to tell you that he will wait in the Hide Park at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow. You can go with him. I didn’t know that you have a date with so likable boy.”
I answered her: “You know, who searches, she finds. I’m very happy!”
And now I am not afraid of school. I’m, on the contrary, looking forward to school.
